U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Picks Raleigh

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced the selection of a new community engagement office in Raleigh on NC State’s Centennial Campus to further the agency’s outreach efforts in the Southeast Region. RED director Kyle Touchstone, who was part of helping the USPTO select Raleigh, had the following to say about the announcement:

“It says a lot that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is opening an office on NC State’s campus in Raleigh. Yet another resource to ensure our region can innovate quickly and efficiently, moving groundbreaking ideas from concept to the marketplace and creating new companies, jobs and opportunities along the way.”
