A WalletHub study compared 15 indicators of living standards for women in 182 cities.

WalletHub ranks Raleigh eighth in the nation and first in North Carolina for women.

Raleigh ranked No. 1 for women’s preventive health care and No. 6 for economic and social well-being, along with strong rankings for women-owned businesses and median earnings. The city ranked lower in areas including women’s health care, safety, and the uninsured rate.
